Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. delivered a devastating blow to the medical establishment Thursday, exposing years of corruption and failed COVID policies while defending President Trump's life-saving Operation Warp Speed against the very bureaucrats who bungled the pandemic response.
In a fiery three-hour Senate Finance Committee hearing, RFK Jr. refused to back down from his complete overhaul of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, firing corrupt officials who "put masks on our children" and "closed our schools" based on junk science. Democratic senators, clearly rattled by his truth-telling, resorted to personal attacks and calls for his resignation.
"These changes were absolutely necessary adjustments to restore the agency to its role as the world's gold standard public health agency," Kennedy declared, systematically dismantling the failures of the COVID-era CDC leadership that prioritized politics over science.
"President Trump deserves a Nobel Prize for Operation Warp Speed. It's phenomenal," Kennedy affirmed, highlighting the success of Trump's vaccine program while exposing the hypocrisy of officials who now attack the very vaccines they once promoted.
The hearing revealed the desperation of the medical establishment as Kennedy systematically exposed their failures. Senator Ron Wyden of Oregon called Kennedy a threat "within a million miles of this job," while Senator Maria Cantwell of Washington resorted to name-calling, branding him a "charlatan." Even some Republicans, clearly influenced by Big Pharma lobbying, expressed concerns about Kennedy's common-sense reforms.
Kennedy's firing of recently confirmed CDC Director Susan Monarez sent shockwaves through the health bureaucracy. Monarez's subsequent op-ed attacking Kennedy only proved his point—she and her allies were more committed to protecting the failed status quo than serving American families. Four other senior officials resigned in protest, clearing the way for Kennedy to install leaders who actually prioritize public health over political correctness.
Kennedy has cancelled $500 million in mRNA vaccine development contracts and appointed vaccine policy skeptics to key advisory positions, following through on his promise to restore scientific integrity to federal health agencies.
Despite the establishment's coordinated attack, President Trump stood firmly behind his Health Secretary, noting that Kennedy "means very well" and has "different ideas"—exactly the kind of disruptive thinking needed to fix America's broken health bureaucracy. As Kennedy continues draining the swamp at HHS, the medical establishment's panic proves he's directly over the target.
